Tutoring Approach

I developed a method I called BIH (Bring It Home), which I have always adopted in my teaching approach. This method has helped me to always relate any mathematics topics I teach with everyday activities, which always help the students to understand and internalize any topic I teach them.

I am a fresh graduate with a BSc in Applied Physics and a minor in Computer Science. Throughout the previous years, I have always been tutoring on the side and have accumulated a total of roughly 1 year of teaching experience. I have shown exemplary results in my teachings, especially in mathematics, as it is the heart of my strengths. I hope to continue passing on the knowledge I have acquired and guide others in using this knowledge to solve problems efficiently and effectively.

Tutoring Approach

I always start off with an initial benchmark test to get an idea of where the student is in comparison to the syllabus and also what they would like to achieve. I then break down the parts that the student would have to work on, according to the previous test, and prepare a training plan to ensure acceptable results while keeping track of their progress on their current syllabus.
