I have extensive teaching experience in IGCSE, A level (CIAE, EDEXCEL, AQA) and IB Chemistry in private colleges and private tutoring. I believe in building strong foundations before progressing to intermediate and higher stages. Practicing on past year examination questions is a must immediately after every lesson. I started tutoring when I was in a secondary school as a teacher's assistant. My teaching emphasizes on the students themselves when I am able to personalize the teaching method that suits the students. Usually, the students would have much more success in obtaining better grades, and their mindset would usually change from I need to study to please my parents to I need to study for myself and my future.

The first lessons would usually include a KNOW YOUR STUDENT session, where I would ask questions to the parents/ students about their expectations and goals for the specific subject that I will tutor. From there, with a better understanding of the student's and the parent's goals, it would be easier to set a realistic goal that can be achieved by the student. My lessons are one of a kind because I focus on the actual ability of the students to learn and grow, to help them understand that learning is a fun process that eventually motivates them to do better.
