My 7 secrets to learn a language better and faster :  

1 - Practice and repeat an exercise multiple times (until you master it) LEARNING A LANGUAGE IS NOT ONLY A MEMORIZATION PROCESS BUT MORE A REPETITION TRAINING

2  Memorize & be familiar with several key elements (numbers, basic verbs, conjugate verbs) MEMORIZATION & FAMILIARIZATION OF KEY ELEMENTS WILL GIVE YOU THE SPEED TO INITIATE A SENTENCE OR A QUESTION  

3 - Don't be shy and practice as much as you can. People may not understand you right away, but that's how you learn to be understood by others. THE MORE YOU SPEAK, THE MORE YOU WILL LEARN & PICK UP  

4 - Learn the vocabulary and know how to use it in a sentence / question. LEARN NEW VOCABULARY AND USE IT IN A SENTENCE / QUESTION

5 - Don't focus too much grammar rules: You might learn grammar rules and you will be happy to know them but will you really use it? ACCEPT THAT AS A BEGINNER, YOUR LANGUAGE IS NOT PERFECT AND START AS THE DAY ONE  

6 - Don't learn too much at the same time but rather, learn and practice. You will make small improvements. Many small improvements will give you fast learning. ACCEPT TO NOT KNOW EVERYTHING BUT PUSH YOURSELF TO SPEAK

7  Stay away from direct translations! Avoid using Google to translate whole sentences from your mother tongue. Instead, understand the French format and make simple sentences / questions. Example : In French, we do not say we exercise, but instead we do sport (faire du sport). A good tip : start speaking like you would be an 8 years old child. Learning to communicate with basics will build a good foundation for you to learn and improve instead of trying to build long and complex sentences (which will only frustrate and demotivate you!) ACCEPT NOT TO DIRECTLY TRANSLATE BUT UNDERSTAND & FOLLOW THE FORMAT OF THE FRENCH LANGUAGE
