I consider myself a versatile musician and a passionate educator. As a performer, I have performed as a pianist and harpsichordist at the Chamber Music Series of the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra, as a composer, my music has been performed by the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra and abroad; as a teacher, I have taught at several universities and private music schools. Some of my students have won scholarships to study at the music specialist school Wells Cathedral in the UK.

To me, rather than mindless drilling, finding natural ways of how the hands move is the key to solving many technical issues. Instead of asking for more feelings, my instructions are concrete. I see music education as a holistic education on aesthetics.
