I have been teaching English for 12 years. Throughout the years, I have guided and helped students from all walks of life. Today, my students include kids, teenagers, and working adults. I teach the National, as well as the IGCSE English syllabus. I also train students for the ESOL, IELTS and MUET examinations. I believe that having a good command over the English language opens doors to a great array of opportunities, and therefore, providing people with the right set of English skills is one of my passions.

Tutoring Approach

I plan my lesson, and make all the necessary preparation ahead, including photocopy of handouts, and lesson content. Lessons involve reading, writing, listening and speaking. Having a good command over the English language, especially grammar, allows me to deliver lessons of impeccable quality. I believe in Albert Einstein's quote "If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough.", and therefore, I make it a point of teaching in a simple, yet effective manner.

I am a full-time teacher.  I am currently doing Master in Education (TESL) and I have been tutoring since 2012. I am a current Biochemistry student studying at King's College London. Previously an international school student, I've sat exams for International Baccalaureate (IB) and iGCSE (Cambridge and Edexcel). I have a strong background in English, achieving 8.0 in my IELTS. I am able to help students of all age groups though I specialise in areas of my qualifications, IB, iGCSE and IELTS.

Tutoring Approach

I offer tutoring sessions for students of all age groups. As a student to another student, I aim to develop your confidence in your chosen subject so that when you walk into that exam hall you're more than ready to blow ur examiner's mind away! Achieving top results in my IAs, I'm happy to read and offer tips on what examiners are looking for to make it your best work. Additionally, I offer help with university applications! Our lessons will be conducted virtually, typically through Zoom and around 1 hour long. Sessions will be structured based on the student, their needs, and study style. It has been beneficial for past students to share topics they wish to focus on in advance so we can maximise the use of time during our sessions!
