I have been working in USM as a tutor up to 2 years, I gained my master degree in Animal Biology and currently pursuing a PhD in Biotechnology.

PhD in Molecular Medicine (Vaccinology)

Experience

I have been teaching Biology and Chemistry in A-level and foundation studies. I have a PhD degree in Molecular Medicine, specialising in the field of immunology, vaccine and drugs development. I also have a MSc degree in Applied sciences and BSc degree in Biotechnology. With those academic experiences, I can help you to excel in your studies.

Tutoring Approach

I basically use mutual interactive approach to teach my students. I use online teaching tools like Kahoot, Mentimeters, and google classroom to conduct my classes. I will revise every questions being answer from students and give guidance for them in terms of critical thinking and problem solving.

My philosophy is based on the idea that learning happens in an environment of mutual respect in which the student is encouraged to think and make new connections for themselves. My experience has been that one to one personal tuition has a unique value to students because of the ability to resolve the student’s personal barriers to learn in a way that lays the foundation for a deep and lasting understanding of the subject.

Tutoring Approach

I will go by the Syllabus taught to the students and try my level best to make them practice as many questions as possible so that they get familiar with the method. Other than this after completion of each topic a test will be conducted to judge the knowledge of student.

I have 2 years of experience in tutoring high school students (SPM level) in English and Mathematics. I also have tutored students in their Pre-U English exams preparations including MUET, TOEFL and IELTS.

I like to use simple techniques such as mnemonics to memorize complicated subjects and simple analogies to explain tough theories.
