I look for patterns in the students interest and teach accordingly. And also, I teach by introducing humor into the tutoring session. I ask a student to explain back the steps that were needed to solve a problem that I have taught. I teach students using drawing technique so that the student would be able to imagine and understand the concepts. At the beginning of each lesson I practice to recap the previous lesson's inputs to ensure that the student remembers.
