I expect equal participation, students must communicate and make known their problems clearly and effectively in order for me to assist them. Each student will be taught differently based on their level of understanding, concentration and perseverance as there is no one magic bullet to solve all kind of different problems. I do not provide short notes but I teach students how to use the textbook to the fullest as this is a very important skills needed for one's further education and development at the university. Also as an example, I found that in Cambridge A-level (CIE) Physics and Chemistry examination questions and mark scheme, they were very much based on or within the scope of the main textbook.

I have taught Maths and Science to a Standard 3 student. She is an average student but I have managed to change her mindset by creating a different approach to gain her attention. I always spend 10-15mins on recapping various topics before starting my lessons. I also teach Additional Mathematics to a Form 4 student and he did well in his exam. I have Bachelor in Mathematics from University Science Malaysia and I love mathematics and will like to spread my knowledge and learning methods to students.

I also will give them few examples and quiz when necessary. My main secret is always to able gain student attention and focus on the lesson.
